How I Found Blogtober

Hello everybody!
After a short post-blogtober break, I’m finally back with the content. Although let’s be honest, I was lost after no longer needing to stress over the final blogtober posts. I needed to get back to work pronto.

I’ve been doing what I can to get back into projects I’d unintentionally abandoned, but I didn’t want to stay away from blogging for too long. Continue reading “How I Found Blogtober”

Smalls For All | Charity Feature | 30/31

Hello everybody!
Today Surviving Millennial brings you the first ever Charity Feature!

I am a firm believer that charity should not be anonymous. That making charities and donating – including just how easy it is – should be more known. Which brings us toΒ Charity Feature.

What we aim to do is talk about smaller or lesser-known charities, once a month, at the end of each month. Hoping to raise awareness that these charities exist, and to show what good they do and bring. Continue reading “Smalls For All | Charity Feature | 30/31”

Plans For Post-Blogtober Break 29/31

If there’s one thing blogtober has left me, it’s drained.
The amount of mental work that goes into this challenge is insane, and I cannot believe I’ve made it to the end. But boy, am I ready for some time off.

When I realised I wasn’t going to be as organised as I’d hoped, I knew I’d need to take a short amount of time off at the beginning of November. Let myself rest and get ready to dive back into my three post a week schedule.

But even though my break will be from blogging itself – and don’t worry, it’s only a short break – I have some things in mind that I’d like to be doing. Continue reading “Plans For Post-Blogtober Break 29/31”

Beauty Treatments I’d Like To Try 28/31

Skincare.
If you don’t know by now, I’m very much interested in skincare, but I am also into beauty still too.

I see so many treatments which are beauty or skincare related which I would just love to try someday. The only reason I’ve not done so yet is I just haven’t got the funds to try them yet.

So today let’s find out what some of those treatments are. Maybe you’ll know of them, maybe you’ll have tried them!
Let’s get into it!

Pumpkin Carving 23/31

Pumpkin carving is something I love doing every Autumn. If it happens to be the only thing I do for Halloween that year, then it’s been a good/successful Halloween.

I introduced my partner to the joys of it last year and promised him we’d make it a tradition of ours to carve pumpkins together each year.

I’ve carved a variety of things over the years.
Your go-to “spooky” faces. Tinkerbell. Phineas from Phineas and Ferb.
But my favourite one, and the one which took the longest – several hours! – Baby. The Winchester’s ’69 Chevrolet Impala.

She was a beauty and I was sad when we had to throw the pumpkin out. But the process was the most amount of fun I’ve ever had when it came to carving pumpkins.

Going into this post, I’m not certain what design I’ll be doing this year. But by the end of this post, you’ll be seeing what we decided to make!

I’m contemplating finding some uses for the pumpkin seeds. Maybe add them to smoothies with the chia seeds I use. Perhaps even try and save them to grow when I finally get my garden sorted.

Or forget about them like I usually would…

It’s a fun activity for us to do. Full of laughter and cheek. Let’s not forget a great family activity – although, presumably older kids.

What’s some Autumn/Fall traditions you have? Or try to do yearly?

Until next time,
Surviving Millennial.
