Today Surviving Millennial brings you the first ever Charity Feature!
I am a firm believer that charity should not be anonymous. That making charities and donating – including just how easy it is – should be more known. Which brings us to Charity Feature.
What we aim to do is talk about smaller or lesser-known charities, once a month, at the end of each month. Hoping to raise awareness that these charities exist, and to show what good they do and bring. Continue reading “Smalls For All | Charity Feature | 30/31”
If there’s one thing blogtober has left me, it’s drained.
The amount of mental work that goes into this challenge is insane, and I cannot believe I’ve made it to the end. But boy, am I ready for some time off.
When I realised I wasn’t going to be as organised as I’d hoped, I knew I’d need to take a short amount of time off at the beginning of November. Let myself rest and get ready to dive back into my three post a week schedule.
But even though my break will be from blogging itself – and don’t worry, it’s only a short break – I have some things in mind that I’d like to be doing. Continue reading “Plans For Post-Blogtober Break 29/31”
If you don’t know by now, I’m very much interested in skincare, but I am also into beauty still too.
I see so many treatments which are beauty or skincare related which I would just love to try someday. The only reason I’ve not done so yet is I just haven’t got the funds to try them yet.
So today let’s find out what some of those treatments are. Maybe you’ll know of them, maybe you’ll have tried them!
Let’s get into it! Continue reading “Beauty Treatments I’d Like To Try 28/31”
Tarot cards are something I’ve loved and had an interest in for a while now. I own a deck and I’m beyond happy with the art style and how it works.

Now that I have your attention, we’ll be talking about cupcakes.
(That’s how you draw in a readers attention, right?)
With all attempts at humour aside, today I’ll be showing you these fun cupcakes which are perfect for any Halloween-themed event.

If you’ve been following the blog since it started, you may have come across some posts on Witch Casket’s subscription boxes. I love them and I’ve been getting them for months.
So today, I’m going to share with you a small handful of items that I love from them! Continue reading “My Favourite Witch Casket Items 25/31”
Being ill is awful. I think everybody can agree on that.
The coughs, the runny or blocked nose, the heavy feeling in your head.
So today I’m going to share some things I like to when I’m sick, and to hopefully prevent it getting worse. Continue reading “Handling A Sick Day 24/31”
Pumpkin carving is something I love doing every Autumn. If it happens to be the only thing I do for Halloween that year, then it’s been a good/successful Halloween.
I introduced my partner to the joys of it last year and promised him we’d make it a tradition of ours to carve pumpkins together each year.
I’ve carved a variety of things over the years.
Your go-to “spooky” faces. Tinkerbell. Phineas from Phineas and Ferb.
But my favourite one, and the one which took the longest – several hours! – Baby. The Winchester’s ’69 Chevrolet Impala.
She was a beauty and I was sad when we had to throw the pumpkin out. But the process was the most amount of fun I’ve ever had when it came to carving pumpkins.
Going into this post, I’m not certain what design I’ll be doing this year. But by the end of this post, you’ll be seeing what we decided to make!
I’m contemplating finding some uses for the pumpkin seeds. Maybe add them to smoothies with the chia seeds I use. Perhaps even try and save them to grow when I finally get my garden sorted.
Or forget about them like I usually would…
It’s a fun activity for us to do. Full of laughter and cheek. Let’s not forget a great family activity – although, presumably older kids.
What’s some Autumn/Fall traditions you have? Or try to do yearly?
Until next time,

Staying up to date with your social media profiles can be a challenge. Especially when you have a few to manage, a blog too, and for some, a job too.
Apps which allow you to schedule things, such as tweets for twitter, are incredibly helpful. So let’s talk about what I use. Continue reading “How I Schedule My Tweets 22/31”
You read that correctly. I have some witchcraft books!
I only have a couple, but I love them, and need to get back into reading – and actually finish reading – them.
