21 Things I’ve Learned In 21 Years

Hello everybody!
Today I’m bringing you a rather special post. Why you may ask? Because today  — 21st December — is my 21st birthday!

Yes, I am 21 on the 21st. And I’ve been loving saying that.

So today I’m going to share a list of 21 things that I have learnt in 21 years.

When I finally finished this list and looked over it, I realised there is nothing similar about the info. It’s random and filled with both serious and fun information.

So with that being said, let’s get started…

1- Adulthood is expensive

2- Creating your own path is harder than it seems

3- Hollywood wax is the best waxing treatment you can get

4- I will most likely always be an awkward bean, and that’s okay

5- You can lose the love for something you’re passionate about overnight

6- Look after your skin! It’s worth it

7- The future is terrifying, but you can never run from it

8- Being a perfectionist makes things 10x worse

9- Green tea is the best

10- I should eat better. I may keep telling myself this

11- Your credit score is important, and needed throughout adulthood

12- Charity shops/Thrift stores are the best

13- If you want it — work for it

14- The comfort zone is great, but you won’t grow in it

15- You don’t need to buy brand new

16- I learned more once I left school than I ever did in school

17- Travel is important

18- My health is my first priority

19- If you’re not happy with yourself: fix it

20- The smallest achievements matter

21- Learn to cook. Everyone’s got to eat

Now, do you believe me when I say it’s a random list?

When it came to writing the list, I had to sit down several times to add to it. Quickly jotting down ideas when I think of them and spending a lot of time wondering if I’d ever hit 21 things.

For those of you who celebrate it, I hope you have a fantastic and blessed Yule today.

Until next time,
Surviving Millennial.
