How I’m Curing My Eczema

Hello everybody!
Today, I’m talking about something which has bothered me, pretty much all my life. Eczema.

When I was younger, I used to get it frequently. In fact, it became so bad, I had thick scabs from it.

During my preteen-early teen years, I don’t recall getting it as much, if at all, but this last couple of years I’ve been getting it again.
It’s not too bad, I don’t get it all the time, but, I get it when the seasons change. Mainly spring-summer. Then it lasts for months.

Being honest with you, I’m sick of it. It makes me embarrassed to show my arms, but I can’t keep them constantly covered otherwise it’d itch more.

At first, I used Oilatum. It worked for a short while, but I had to start using my face cleanser with it. This was due to layering the product. Unfortunately, I’d sweat in between – we all know the heat we had in the UK – so the sweat would sit under the product, making my arms worse.

Next, I tried the product. The one which has been saving my skin.

I’d never heard of this before, I also got the impression it was somewhat new. It’s a product made for babies and toddlers. But the reason we tried it, other than the cheap price, is the fact that parents have been swearing by it for healing eczema.

Within ten minutes of my first use, I was seeing results.

You don’t need a lot either, a small amount in the required area and you’re good to go.

I don’t think this cost any more than £3. Super cheap, but a good quality product.

I plan to keep on buying this when I need to get new bottles – I’ve yet to run out of the first bottle – due to how well it’s been helping me.

Have you heard of this product before? If you struggle with eczema, do you think you’ll try it?

Until next time,

  1. I, like you, am a sufferer of Eczema. It was worse when I was younger(between 6-21). It seems when my hormones finally balanced in my early 20’s, it got a lot better. I now only get it seasonally, much like you. My joint areas the most(inner elbows are the worse, then knees). I too get it the worse during the spring/summer season change.

I am photosensitive on top of having the eczema, which can cause very bad combo reactions.

While I have never heard of this product, I did get told by my doctor to try baby products when I was about 16. I have tried more than a few, and have always had great results with them. Why they can’t formulate a similar product for adults, or just repackage the bottles to be more adult friendly, I don’t know. I think a lot of people with skin issues would benefit from these baby products, if only they knew they were there.

I honestly would have never though to check in between baby bum creams to find something for my skin, if left to my own devices.

Thanks for sharing your finds, as I am sure someone, somewhere may stumble upon this some day, and find the information really useful. The miracles of baby products really need to be know by the masses.
