Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser Review

Hello everybody!
Today, I’d like to review this cleanser I’ve been using for a short while now.
It’s one I was interested in trying a few years back, didn’t think you could get it in the UK, forgot about, and then randomly found it in my closest Sainsbury’s. (I wish I was making this up!)

But now I’ve found it, I’d definitely like to talk about it!

Cetaphil Cleanser

Product Info:
Gentle Skin Cleanser. Suitable for face and body. Dry, sensitive skin.

“Recommended as a gentle, non-irritating daily cleanser for sensitive and dry skin. Soap-free formula removing dirt, make-up and other impurities without drying the skin.
Helps skin retain needed moisture. Leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and healthy. Soothes and softens as it cleans. pH balanced for effective and gentle cleansing.”

I’ve been loving using this cleanser. It doesn’t irritate my poor acne-prone skin, and even though it’s for dry and sensitive skin, I haven’t been feeling as oily as I normally do – I don’t get that oily, but I have noticed a difference on myself – for those who may not know, my skin type is combination. I have oily parts, dry parts, acne, and it can be somewhat sensitive from time to time – but that’s usually when it comes to using stronger products.

I like using this twice a day – once in the morning, once in the evening, unless I decide to exfoliate instead –  it works great on my face and neck, leaving my skin feeling clean – but not dry!

I genuinely have no complaints about this product. I’ve been so happy using it. I’ve only used it on my face and neck, I’ve not tried it on my body – but as someone who deals with eczema when the seasons start to chance, thanks spring/summer, I’m very tempted to try this on my eczema and see how that goes.
Interested in how I handle eczema? Let me know if you’d like a post on that!

The cleanser costs £8.50 and if definitely worth a try!

  1. I’ve recently tried this myself, and do have sensitive, dry skin, as well as eczema. I sometimes get a bit by my temples, normally when spring fades to summer. It did seem to help a bit, my flare didn’t last as long, and was less angry looking.
